F_RM was developed as a direct result of my thesis. Beginning as a photographic research experiment, I drew inspiration from the window shape to inform a brand identity and institution proposal.
I proposed an institution split into three pillars, form, farm, and firm. Form represents solo ventures; individual artists, projects, and works. Farm, collaborative efforts; group shows and lectures. And Firm, the institution as a whole.
F_RM is conceived as gallery, school, foundation, and institution; a structure broad enough to hold the full breadth of creative practice. Exhibitions, panels, lectures, residencies. A space built to support the work, the conversation around the work, and the people making it.
